In a hot Berlin midsummer night the lives of two DJs, three party-girls, a cab driver a homeless man and two cops intertwine. The apparently coincidental encounters hide the fact that their fates are inextricably linked. Tonight they will venture far beyond their limits and their lives will change forever.

Two hit men, a call girl, and a gay couple become entangled in a web of violence. In the course of one night, they just narrowly miss each other.

Tom loves Patsy, but she lives in the city while he is every bit the country bumpkin. When an invention of his sells, he decides to take the money and go to the city. There he will show Patsy that he can be just what he thinks she wants: a city slicker. But Patsy yearns for the simple pleasure of her country boy, Tom, and is shocked at what shows up at her door.

A bank teller with dreams of being a writer sets the scene for this rich comedy of grasping defeat from the jaws of victory life asserting wry sitcom.

Partially lost movie. Based on the novella ‘The Red Scarf’ by Mikhail Pavlovich Rogi. The story of a peasant woman who comes to the city to join her husband, a factory worker, and finds it difficult to adjust to her new life. Only the fourth part of the film has survived.
